Homegroups

We currently have two homegroups at Camborne Community Church.  Our long term goal is to establish more Homegroups, so that everyone in the church has opportunity to meet in a smaller, more intimate setting with the aim that we all may “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18)

Trevu Road Homegroup

We are a group of about eight Christians who meet every Wednesday evening. 

The evening starts with a hot drink and a chat for about half an hour, then we read a chapter of the bible and discuss what we have read. There is no formal teaching, no expert present, so anyone can contribute any thought without fear of being put down or laughed at! We rely on the Holy Spirit to guide our discussions.

At the end we pray together, often about things in our personal lives that we shared at the start of the evening.

Carn Brea Court Homegroup

This is a group of about 8 folk from the church who meet every Thursday morning.  The setting is informal and includes Bible study, warm fellowship and every now and then, special outings for a meal out.

Everyone is encouraged to take part, whether asking questions or reading the passage, and we learn together to become more effective disciples of the Lord Jesus.
