Camborne Community Church

Mission

This church has a long history of supporting the work of individual missionaries and mission organisations.  In 2016, for the first time in at least 40 years, Camborne Community Church commissioned and sent out a missionary from their own congregation.  Kirstina Bodman joined a YWAM base for a Discipleship Training School, and she has since become a staff member of the new YWAM Immerse Cornwall base in Scorrier, Cornwall.

Currently, the church financially supports two missionaries and a mission organisation with a regular monthly contribution and prayer.

• Katherine Bell – serving with Operation Mobilisation (OM) in Santiago, Chile
• Christians Against Poverty (CAP) – through the Redruth CAP Centre at Redruth Baptist Church

Camborne Community Church also supports other organisations with ad hoc financial contributions (and in the case of Barnabas Fund, regular boxes of dried food!):
